Welcome to Saint George’s Tillydrone Church of Scotland. Throughout this website you will find news of our Church in Tillydrone, Aberdeen, and also the work we are involved with via our partner Organisation Tillydrone Vision, working with groups in Kampala, Kaliro, and Kamuli, Uganda, East Africa. Saint George’s Tillydrone is a member congregation of the Church of Scotland, but we are very much “the local Parish Church”, seeking to serve and witness through Word and Action in Christ’ name .
Mission Statement
Tillydrone Vision is a joint Community Organisation that operates and is administered through Saint George’s Tillydrone Church. Here you will find information about our Projects and the work we are involved with.
A key part of the work of Tillydrone Vision is seeking ways to work in partnership with people, helping provide education, and trying to find ways which can help address poverty amongst our partner Communities at Bezallel School, Kamuli, and the HIV/AIDS Co-operative, Kaliro Town, Uganda.
As a part of the project Tillydrone Parish in Aberdeen, is now an offical Twinned Partner with Kamuli Town in Uganda.
Plans are now underway for a group of Tilly Travellers from Aberdeen to be returning to Uganda in February 2012.

ACT ATTACK !
Great News for all of our Young Folks
ACT ATTACK Drama Group has a new and fully Qualified Drama Leader.
We also have a new time to meet on a
Friday After School at 3: 30-5:30pm.
Why not make it a point to come along and meet Marie who is our new Leader.
We will be introducing her to Mrs. Jolly and hopefully Marie will in past Riverbank School visiting and hearing how good our Young Folks really are in Tillydrone.

Uganda Visit 2012
Plans are now in-place for Tillydrone Vision visit to Uganda.
Fifteen Group members will depart Aberdeen on Monday 6th. Feb at 6: 20am to fly to Uganda. After travelling for a full day they will arrive in Kampala around midnight. This year’s Group is exciting as we have six Young Folks sponsored on the trip. As always a condition of Sponsorship is that they agree to visit different groups and organisations and speak of how they found their visit to Uganda.
