Primary Schools
A huge thanks to everyone at Donbank School for raising £1,000 for our Container to Uganda Project. I don't know how you did it Margaret but Thank you so much!
My sincere thanks also go to everyone at St. Machar Primary School for Your most generous donation which was in excess of £300.
All of You really are making the difference.
I am humbled by the generosity shown by our Primary Schools.
My regret is that those responsible for closure of our Two Schools did not have the vision or ability to see this side of so many wonderful people.
Every Member to be Visited:
The Kirk Session has decided to sytart a campaign to try and reach out to some of our Missing Members.
Each week throughout October, all of our Members will be visited at home and receive their invitation to attend a four week series of services.
Rev Jim Weir has said that “It would be nice to try and encourage some of our Membership back give them the opportunity to to sees some of what we are doing in the Church.”
“Over the past year there has been a lot of changes throughout the buildings and also in the way we are now operating.”
Originally planned for September 2008, the Kirk Session felt that it would be better if e were to begin our campaign with a Service of Harvest Thanksgiving and running throughout October.
Watch out for news of this campaign.
If you would like to volunteer and take part as a Visitor, please contact the Session Clerk or the minister.
